It has been a very busy Summer at Just Soaps

The move into our new unit went reasonably smoothly for a while it was great to have so much room to work in.

On September 1st we  acquired Soap of the Earth http://www.soapoftheearth.co.uk/  which meant another move, emptying their Boston unit down to Leicester. 4 large transit vans later and we are just about there and getting organised.

Our Soap Making Courses have been very well attended, we have received some great feedback and met some lovely people, all keen to learn our craft.
The next course is on 27th October details can be found here
 http://www.just-soaps.com/acatalog/Soap_Making_Course.html

We have also had a few features
 http://www.deliciousmagazine.co.uk/articles/beauty-products-that-smell-good-enough-to-eat  our Strawberry Lip Balm.

http://showbiz.sky.com/beauty-wish-list feature number 24

Our Orange and Cinnamon soap cake is featured in October's issue of Women's Fitness

We are now getting ready for Christmas and  for some very large shows and have had to take on even more staff

Chemical Free Deodorant

Deodorant Stone Roll-On (Unscented) (85ml)

We now have available a Roll-On Stone which is a liquid version of our original Deodorant Stone.

Full 24hr protection.

This has all the same great properties as our original Stone. Hypoallergenic and Non-Toxic. They are made purely from purified water, USFDA food grade Kosher Certified Potassium Alum and Polyquaternium-10 (cotton cellulose).

YES THEY WORK...the Original Deodorant Stone is one of the finest body deodorants on the market today. It is made naturally from USFDA food grade Kosher Certified Potassium Alum (mineral salts) and purified water. It doesn't contain any harsh chemicals, oils, emulsifiers, alcohol or propellants. It contains NO ALUMINIUM CHLOROHYDRATE. Our Roll-On stone is not sticky or greasy, will not stain clothing, or irritate your skin and best of all
IT WORKS!

HOW THEY WORK... simply use as a normal Roll-On. Make sure the entire area is covered. The Deodorant Roll-On leaves an invisible layer of protection that prevents odour causing bacteria from forming and leaves you feeling fresh and clean. It is not a cover-up nor does it clog your pores. It allows your body to function naturally while actually inhibiting bacteria growth.

Carolee Crafts - Caroline Nash

Who are you and what is the name of your business
My name is Caroline Nash and I run a home based business called Carolee Crafts

What products and items do you make?
Tote Bags. Aprons, Cushions and many more household items using applique, patchwork  and quilting
How long have you been in business and how did it come about?
This time since 2003, started by making gifts and cards for family and firends and with    encouragement started the business to sell my creations
What makes your products really stand out?
Attention to detail, adding printed designs to items such as tote bag
Do you have a website – Face Book Fans page – Blog or Twitter ?
Where else do you sell your products?
  Craft Fairs, Party Plan
What do you enjoy the most about your business?
Working with fabric, lace, buttons and trims to produce and item that someone else will love
What do you enjoy the least?
Not much really, enjoy most aspects of my business, perhaps marketing as not good at selling myself.
What was the last project you finished?
Apron and pot holder sets, in white main fabric with fruit pockets and trim
Any claims to fame, business related or otherwise?
Unfortunately no
Any plans for this year business related or otherwise?
·            To set up the Party Plan side properly, taking samples of my work, catalogue and order forms similar to the old tupperware style, rather than sell like a fair
·         Can you give one piece of advice for anyone starting up in business?
·            Be prepared for hard work, it does not happen over night, be passionate about what you do, if you have no passion you can never follow your dream. Listen to advice but ignore negativity, be in charge of your own destiny.
·         11) Anything you wish to add...
Thank you Jane for this opportunity to promote my business
